Food insecurity has doubled in the last year due to the pandemic. In the words of one Boston resident: I am eating less to make ends meet.
50% of Massachusetts Restaurants are Expected to Close Due to the Pandemic
1 out of 5 Massachusetts restaurants have closed permanently since March. This winter will be difficult for restaurants as they lose outdoor dining as a source of revenue.
Feeding Families, Saving Restaurants
With the help of our partners, we connect restaurant supply chains to families impacted by the pandemic. By focusing on culturally appropriate groceries, our recipient families are empowered by a sense of normalcy during these difficult times.
